My Brother and I set out to search for revoluntionary war artifacts but we had to change our plans because the ground was still frozen and undiggable. We hit a new field that was just opened and this is what I found. Large heartbreaker stem, some preforms ,broken Knives, scrapers..ect... The large piece in the last pic appears to have a worked edge. My brother carried it around for awhile till it got heavy and dropped it. Quite large and had some shape so I brought it home.

that's a good start, I always find looking at lithics from other parts of the country interesting. The last piece imo looks to be a hoe, or spade, definitively work, and definitively worth hauling back. Any evidence of hafting on that piece ? nice finds, thanks for sharing.

You are off to a running start this spring. congratulations
