First Thing I Ever Found With A Fisher Gold Bug II

I was 14 in 1992 when my father bought a gold bug. So a buddy and I decided to use it in the woods behind the house. And here is what we found, kinda unusual! I did some research much later and discovered that there were three Kaiser Dealerships in Alaska, one in Fairbanks, two in Anchorage. We spent about three hours digging it out. Presumably this one came from one of the Anchorage dealers. According to a Kaiser club I contacted years later, the last of the dealers closed it's door in Alaska in 1953/54.

Neat find! A Kaiser "Henry J" was one of my earliest vehicles.

That's in really good shape for being in the ground for almost forty years............

I'm not sure if I can remember ever even seeing a Kaiser up close, probably not. Everything up here rusts bad and doesn't last. The sign has an even better looking reverse side.
