Went down the Meadows this morning,it's so nice having the mild winter we've had so far.On the way in I see TWO pileated woodpeckers pounding away eating,only got this one..

Usually it's mud city down here this time of year,I actually drove out in the field. :hello:

Nice day tomorrow high 40's,I'll be going back and HOPEFULLY find that Spanish silver,or ANYTHING else cool.:laughing7:

Looks a lot like my uncles Sod Farm[emoji23] I’ve never detected his before, but wouldn’t be a bad idea
 

Was there anything there before the sod farm?

It’s not far from the River bottoms, I haven’t looked at any old maps of that area, but on the same road there, there used to be a house on the same side that was there since the late 1800’s. I know there is some Indian artifacts out there after a good rain. I never really paid attention to any broken bricks, or house stone. I did find some broken pottery so I assume there was a structure there at one time.

Wow. Yeah that would be a perfect place to hunt. Unfortunately here in Arkansas, things don’t go that far back[emoji23]
