Finally got some free time to get out diigging this year. The weather here today was in the 40's but sunny, so I decided to hit one of my favorite parks that has produced some keepers in the previous years. Did about 4 hours today, my very first dig this year produced an 1874 Indian, and eventually a 1840 Large Cent. OK, they are not pretty, but I'll take 'em. Thanks for looking....................Rich

Nice job on the old coins! Even though they arn't pretty, they are better then nothing! ;D

Great finds and I would take those finds any time out.

Well done Rich!! Still looking for my first large. The soil in our neck of the woods sure does kill the coins.
