It was too muddy so I only walked a little while (with my lucky hunting stick) but but found something
one (old culture?) point and a scraper

It looks like it could be a Pelican lake point, and they are from the late archaic period, 2300-2600 B.P.................. It is a fairly common type.

Nice point, and scraper too.

Can any one help me out with what kind of Indian tribe could have made the pelican lake point?
it was found in north central south dakota or south central north dakota
I would like to know this:
1.What tribes made pelican Lake points?
2.When were they made?
3.How many tribes made pelican lake points?
4.Did the Arikara make points like these?
