First time out today

Hello fellow treasure hunters! Today is my first post, yet I have been reading this site for a couple years.
Last night I received a Fisher F2 in the mail last night, a birthday present to myself.
I took it to a local park this morning to get the hang of it.
Within three minutes, the detector read zinc. As a brand new metal detectorist, I dug it to get my first find.
Pulled out a penny at four inches in a tot lot.
After returning to my truck, I looked over my first find, a 1982 penny.
The same year I was born!
I'm hooked!
