I went out for my first time yesterday. I started in my yard so I could get the hang of it. I dug: a slug, a rifle casing, a small door knocker, a couple pop cans, and a few clad coins. It looks like a fat squirrel was working hard storing nuts in my yard now.
Then I went to a local beech and found a few clad coins, many pop cans, and some wire. I think I have a pretty good handle on this thing now, so today I will go hit a couple spots I think will be good. Hopefully later I can post a pic of something worth while.
Happy hunting!

Sounds like you found some goodies. Remember, we all find junk- the goodies will come more regularly as you continue to learn your machine. Keep at it! -Garbageman

yup, gotta dig those pull tab signals if you want the gold. Especially on the beaches!

You are doing okay. The real key to finding lots of good stuff, is to be swinging that coil on a regular basis.

...You mean all those pieces of can slaw are not display worthy? Oh, the horror! I guess I'll just add them to the recycling bin.

It sounds like you'll be posting some goodies soon, as mentioned trash is part of the game, good luck out there!
