First time seeing this insect

Buttercup Oil Beetle
Part of the Blister Beetle group.

Was detecting and this Beetle came walking slowly towards me.
Saw a 1/2 dozen or more at the site over the next hour.
It's recommended not to crush them.
Yup just a sidestep, and let them be.

I found 3 of them this fall at my place.
(Cell phone picture). A bug site said they aren’t found in Iowa. 😆
