Went to my friday pick up bank to get a box of halves only to be told that it was not on bricks truck. I decided to get a box of dimes and a box of nickels. I have only searched halves.

Congrats! Just wait until you get your first Buffalo, and/or V nickel. I know they are not silver, but are still cool to find. My first and only V-Nickel was a 1903. Still waiting to find a pre-1900 coin while CRH.

There were so many more pre 1962 that I went and got a whitman 1938 to 1961 nickel book for my son. Here is what else was in the box.
1940, 1940d, 1941, 1941d, 1942x2, 1946, 1949, 1949s, 1951d, 1952, 1953, 1953d, 1953s, 1955d, 1956, 1956d, 1957, 1957d,
1958dx3, 1959d, 1960d & 1961dx3.
Not a bad start for my son.
