Out in the water today with my Nox 800 and Tony Eisenhower headphones. Everything worked great. I just waded although I did go under a few times to pick up what I thought was a boat anchor. When I finally got a hold of it I brought up a very old snow shovel.

Water was tolerable which was a plus. I did forget to take my camera so no water pictures.

As I was warned, Nox loves bottle tops. Just the nature of the beast. I only have one small dislike on the Nox and that is no overload signal. I did dig a few cans that had become propeller bait.

I guess everyone is reading to see what I found to put me on the board. First I have to say that it is MOSTLY genuine. I found a 10K bracelet marked 417 that is real. The clasp is marked 10K and it loves a magnet. So I am guessing the clasp was replaced at one time. 7.74 grams at 135.00 and it gets me started for the year.

Because of all the duck hunters out there I really thought I would pick up more let shot. Some targets fell through my scoop and I left them. When I go back there diving I will be able to see what this critter picks up that can't stay in the scoop.

Nothing really out of the ordinary today except for the snow shovel which I left. Pinpoint is useless to me and so are numbers. I went by sound alone.

I am going to go back out their tomorrow for a little while and maybe brave another place on Sunday. Stay tuned.

Nice finds and no joke on the bottle caps, jeez. Good to see you getting out!

Nice cleanup with a bonus

There has to be a way of getting around those bottle caps. Vert nice hunt and congrats on the Gold.

Nice finds. I like the bracelet. Bottle caps are a pain with the nox.

Glad to see you scored gold after bagging all the trash...Speaking of anchors Scuba, I remember last season or maybe season before, you had found a YUUUGE anchor and I was wondering if you had ever wrangled it out or left it. Thx for sharing, great to see u back..Ddf.

Usually the clasp's are magnetic because of the spring inside.
Gz on 1st gold of 2018 brother! I got my first for 2018 yesterday as well AND it was my first time back in the water for the year also.

Congratualtions on the Gold find! :icon_thumleft:

Good job. You really did a good clean up job. Looks like the piles I get in some locations, but you got your reward. Way to go!

Lots of finds and it had to be an adventure working that site - congrats! :occasion14:

The largest anchor I have found is 6000 lbs or 3 tons. It is still there as far as I know.

That is a huge possibility, one I never thought of. Thank you!

Can't get around bottle caps for two reasons yet. Main one is Canadian coins are magnetic and ring up the same on my CZ's. Second reason is I am looking for small gold also and I am digging everything that gives a signal so I can learn this machine. Thanks

This site has always been an adventure. Here is what it looks like one day a year but it has a ton of boats in it every weekend. Today's post will show a few.
