I have a 15 year old Fischer Aquanaut that quit on me a few months ago. Since then I have taken it apart and the inside is corrosion free (which I hear is quite common on older models). While putting it back together it actually came back on for a brief period.
I am guessing that it either has a short or needs a new power switch. However I am not very knowledgeable about electronics so I really down know what is wrong with it. Due to its age I am really not up to shipping it back to Fischer. Probably cost more to fix than it is worth to me. Does anyone know of a good spot that I could take it to in or around the Central Florida Area for an assessment and possibly to get it fixed?
