Fisher 1125-X?

A friend of mine told me that someone he knows is selling a Fisher 1125-X detector. Anyone have any knowledge of this one?

I think you mean 1225. This was an entry level detector.

Thanks, I was just going off what he said, so he probably just scrambled the numbers. He told me that someone wanted $50 for it, and as I'm "detectorless", I was just wanting some feedback on it.

If you think this might be the hobby for you, this is a good detector. You can always upgrade later if you wish for more features.
