Fisher 1270 at the beach?

Your Fisher will do the dry sand very well. Wet might give you trouble till you turn down the sens a lot. Once you are in the wet sand and it is stable, stay in the wet sand. Cross into the dry and the thing will start acting up the same as it does going from dry to wet.

Good Luck and have at it.

Thanks, Sandman.

Tried to block out some time today to try it out, but got called out to a job. Maybe tomorrow.

Yeah, jobs are tough on our wanting to go detecting. I would skip work some days just to dig in the dirt for pennies and loved it. You can't live by work alone but I picked up a bad habit of needing to eat once in awhile. :tongue3:

WELXOME LASH. WHERE ABOUTS IN SOCAL. I'M IN BETWEEN NORCAL AND SOCAL

Calworks,

I would like to work the beaches from Santa Barbara to San Diego if I can find some time.

I own 2 fisher 1280,s. In fresh water they are super. I tried them in Coco beach Fla. They sucked,I gave up after 5 minutes. If I ever go back I,ll try my Exca. 1000. :tard: Mike.
