Hi All !
Inside the back cover of the May 2014 issue of Western & Eastern Treasures magazine there is an ad for the Fisher F2GWP1 that claims "That's like 4 detectors for one low price!", referring to the 4" and 10" coils, plus a Pinpointer.
Seems to me they made an error in the ad and it should have stated "That's like 3 detectors for one low price!".
Here's my rationale. First of all, a metal detector without a coil can't be considered a completely functional metal detector. Minus a coil attached, the rest of a metal detector couldn't find a thing! So that leaves two coils that can be alternately connected to the rest of the metal detector and the Pinpointer, for a total of 3 possible metal detectors.
