Interesting video. I sold my F5. I really loved it but the truth is that it just wasnt a patch on the F75. The stock F75 coil is very good and the latest DST version is quiet and powerful.
The F5 is a very unique detector. They should really have had the phase button on the unused push function of the GB knob, or shifted it to where the tones button is to make it easier to GB quickly. A volume control would also have been nice.

Yeah, the box does seem pretty big by more modern detectors. The only other issue was the easily scratched face. I had a cover...ironically the plastic on the cover creased and rubbed on the face.....so it actually caused the scratching of the face. It really was a delightful control panel and very light. Would love to see what Fisher do next. The F5 was unique and I cant see them doing something like that again unfortunately. Hopefully Im wrong.
