I hit an early fifties home site this morning. The front yard grassy area was only 40 feet by 60 feet, but it held a lot of coins. Part of the yard was flat with a pecan tree and the rest of the yard nearest the street was on a slope. The kind of yard that I like to detect.
I was digging a lot of clad coins and coppers, but I also was digging a lot of wheat pennies, 22 of them. Today I only managed to find 3 Rosie Dimes, but with that many wheat pennies there could have been lurking a Ben Franklin or a Walking Liberty. You just never know.
The F75 was set up with the NEL Sharpshooter Search Coil, 90 on the sensitivity, 0 discrimination, DE mode with 4H tones.
