Fisher ID-Edge vs. Minelab X-Terra Comparison?

Has anyone compared the X-Terra and the ID-Edge machines for both relic, and coin, hunting? Just wondering what you prefer, and why? I've heard good things about both.

It might help to mention which of the X-Terra's you are referring to. I had the Id Edge and wasn't impressed with it. I also had an Xterra 50 and really wasn't impressed with it.

I have the xterra 505 and love it, a lot!! I haven't used any fisher though. But i have used the ace 250 and didn't care for that either. I will own nothing but a minelab from now on.

From what I understand, the three X-Terra's, 305, 505, 705, have about the same performance with the main differences being the adjustability factor. I could be wrong, but that was my understanding.
