Larson,
As always awesome pics. The hammerstone/buffalo horn was my favorite. Did you not keep the hammerstone?

Chuck

thanks Ohio,
do you mean the fishing weight in pictures 3 and 4 ?
or did you mean the red granite rock in image #8 ?
the piece by the buffalo horn in#8 is not a hammer but it sure looks like one in the photo

More great stuff from Larson's fields....

I bet you get worn out searching with all the material in those fields. There's so much to look at.

Oh my gosh...If I could just touch the hem of your snake chaps oh great one nice, nice, nice tim

I'd love to find just a COUPLE of items like that on the same day!

I appreciate all of your pics, they help a lot!

yes worthy
I think a fishing weight for use with keeping a baited bone hook on or close to the bottom
I would agree that it could also be a net weight
thank you for your interest

I'm getting dizzy.

thanks everyone for your great comments
I will try to do another walk very soon
Josh, yes that is a split tooth, it could be a dog or mountain lion or racoon or?
I see lots of animal teeth laying around, especially buffalo teeth
I have never found one with a hole drilled in it like SRV finds
I wish I could get Al and Russy to break down and get themselves a good camera
I have this canon sd1200 10 megapixel it is great and only costs about 125 bucks and also very small
