FITZ two piece button

Found this today on private land near a fort. This is a strange looking two piece button about the same size as a General Service coat button. I can't find a makers mark on the back as it is rusted badly. Thanks for any help.

It is a Fitz Overalls button. That brand was manufactured by Burnham, Munger & Root in Kansas City MO. The company was established in 1893. It was still in the business of making and selling Fitz Overalls in the 1950s. The postcard showing them is believed to date from around 1910.
