found this cool button about the size of a quarter. kind of neat. wish i knew what era but still a good find.

I found a similar button not long ago - it was ID'ed by TheCannonBallGuy as early 1800's, silver plated - nice find

Your button is late 1700's but most likely early 1800's. There should be more there where it came from. best of luck out the next time.
