Very good finds. They all say you've found an old site. Hope the flat button has some decorative detail.
 

Thanks.. Site is old.. Older than civil war. That button is pretty toasted but I think I see one possible match.

It already freaks me out enough to see photos of my hand holding different objects when I search different things for research.
