I found what I think is a flat button. If it is, it is my first. I am very open to opinions and information from T-Net.

Oy, I'm sorry to say it's not a flat button. It's a two piece. I'm not checking my references when I say this but I believe "Waterbury Co's" came in the 1830's and beyond.

Still, a great find with lots of gilt!

That button is in great shape... lots of nice detail on it!

I know nothing about relics/buttons...so I'm no help there but congrats :icon_thumleft:
 

I'm not sure if mine has the same makers marks but I dug one just like it a long time ago and it's a old police uniform button! [emoji106]
