flat buttons and musket balls

Had another great week end at a ghost town site. I found flat buttons, musket balls, an old lock cover, part of a pewter spoon, and a piece of a clay pipe. Take a look at the three musket balls together. That is a first for me. My detecting buddy kicked my butt though. He found a Spanish 2 Reale, a seated half dime, a large cent, flat buttons, and musket balls.

All items were found on private property with permission from the owner.

I really like the "string" of musket balls!
 

That site looks like it has the potential for a nice early military button, not to mention large cents and perhaps bust silver. The three musketballs from the gang mold is a really cool find!
