Short field hunt on a site that had a home on it on a 1877 map. Cellar hole still there as the home sits in the woods adjacent to the field. Ive found plenty of stuff from that time period up until WWII. Further away from the site closer to a rise in the field, Ive begun to find earlier stuff. Ive dug a lot of early sites and was due to find a complete shoe/knee buckle frame. Pretty fancy one at that

Nice relic hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

That's a pretty buckle frame congrats on it, old copper and buttons that's the kind of stuff I like to find

Great Finds! Love the fancy buckle. congrats

Beautiful knee buckle frame!

Awesome buckle.

Congratulations - knee/shoe buckles are awesome finds and this one has a nice, ornate design! :icon_thumright:

Thanks everyone. I was thrilled to get the 1600s nipple button on my last hunt but I think I like this relic better

Some brilliant finds, well done!
