Just a post from a couple of small detecting hunts. 1936 Wheat penny, 1897 V nickel, 3 flat buttons and 1 large fancy Dandy button, I set of cuff links Colonial period, and a trappers tag from a local man, Roger Keith that I will try to return to him or his family. The piece at the top of my photos had me going as I had imagined it was a cut 8 reale until I cleaned it and it turned out to just be a cut piece of round lead. My imagination ran wild when I thought I saw writing on it. Waiting on my new Nel Tornado coil to arrive and if it works as well with Max as it did with the ATPro I will be very happy. Good luck and thanks for peeking. IMG_20200504_141000574.webpIMG_20200504_141017202.webpIMG_20200504_141104818.webpIMG_20200504_141127479.webpIMG_20200504_141143285.webp

Nice looking Dandy John. Looks like there is still some silver plating you can bring out on that one. You could try rubbing it gently with wet baking soda paste. I like those cufflinks as well.

Nice finds, love the old dandies! Congrats

Thanks, Steve. I'll try some baking soda on that.
