The post the other day with the flattened bullet with the x carved into it made me dig out some bullets that I have dug that were probably game pieces. Here are some of the flat poker chip bullets, the second pic is a flattened Sharps, next is a Gardner recovered from Kennesaw Mt. that was carved into a chess pawn, and lastly two carved bullets that were probably chess pieces as well.

Nice finds, I know no two are alike but I have some very close to yours I will dig them out and post some too. Again cool finds!

Good post. I'll try to post a pic. of some of my carved pieces tomorrow. They are so cool to find.

I never considered the Gardner you have almost cut in half as a chess piece. That is a good one, I have a few cut like yours I will have to check them out again. Thanks for food for thought.

Carved lead is a favorite find for me. Like Joe said above, there's no two alike.
Here are a few of my better ones, to include a few poker chips.IMG_20180318_081120643.webpIMG_20180318_081126074.webpIMG_20180318_081133381.webpIMG_20180318_081400621.webp
