A friend of mine emailed me these pics. He found them at a small thrift store. He said the handles seem like bone. Does anyone have any idea as to age or origin? there are no maker's marks on them.

A nearly identical set is pictured in the 1902 Sears Roebuck catalog, page 482. The handles are described as white bone, made by the American Cutlery Co. Price per set was 6 knives and 6 forks for $2.25. Pretty neat!
