Hey all,

haven't posted in a bit....but my parents came across these three pieces at a flea market the other day. The dealer got them from an estate sale and had no idea what they could be. any ideas?

The first is a snake with a loop fixed to it. second is some kind of animal, also with a loop. the third is a big heavy bracelet that seems to have hatch marks and dots poked around the outside. They all have the look and feel of being pretty old...

I say they might be "African" only because they look similar to other African pieces I've seen in the past. Any help would be appreciated.

Found out about them...If these are real they can be really valuable grasshopper...

GAN.webp

The one with the disk is a snake with solar disk pendant.
It looks that it is typical for a type of jewelry called "Gan Bronzes", google them, they come from Africa from Burkina Faso (or other West African countries that is maybe Ivory Coast, Ghana a.o.). They come with one, two or three heads...

The snake pendant, too comes from West Africa and could be also a very valuable find. A similar one here:

Take them to an antique shop you trust to find out if they are the real thing and what they are worth.
Your parents may have hit the jackpot and scored a great deal!!!
