When was it when Sony quit making these ancient players & where would you get cassettes to play in it? You wouldn't be interested in a 8 track player by any chance with rock & roll tapes from the 60's and 70's -anyway thanks for sharing your post.

Cassettes are not to hard to find. I just picked up a Penncrest 8 track the other day. Thanks for the offer.
 

Hey, I still have a cassette player at the house with 3 scottish folk song tapes and Asleep at the Wheel's Riding With Bob(Wills). Thank heavens it's in a big player with an AM/FM...
 

For sure, can find tapes all day long. Heck, I have a never opened Guns -n- Roses "Use Your Illusion II" cassette.
 

I bought one of those sony sport walkman new in package about 18 months ago. It sold for $150. Used, an easy $40, especially because it has the original headphones. Sony stuff is collectible.
