Flea Market Mayhem Incl Silver!!!

I have been frequenting a local flea market for a while now and finally got friendly with the manager who allows me to detect the property. The one great thing about flea markets is that the finds are replenished 3 times a week.

I can't believe the array of items I got on today's 3 hour hunt. I wanted to stay out longer but it was much to hot and humid, besides I was almost out of water. I can't believe that I had 6 bottles of water in that short period.

Most of the clad coins including the SB Anthony dollar were found in the parking lot. I always search both sides of the tables and see what goodies were left behind. Today was an 1898 Quarter, not in great shape, but still the first silver quarter I found. It must have been dropped by a vendor I guess.

Also found what appears to be a civil bullet, again probably dropped by a vendor. Anyway at least I have a little piece of history and $2.72 in clad.

It looks as though the ring is costume jewelry as I was unable to see any marking to indicate otherwise

Yes it is and thank god we have several of them here. This one is in the Lakewood area. I will head to the one in Englishtown tomorrow and it is larger than the one I was hunting.. There is another smaller one to the west in Lambertville.

I think you would neighbor, it is on route 70 W. I also went to hunt in Passadena, NJ by the old brick factory. If you ever want to hunt together give me a shout..
