I find a lot of scrapers, but not many larger older scrapers.

this scraper is made of flint ridge, found in central Indiana
2 3/4 inches long

I'll bet you didn't know there is a source of Flintridge in Indiana. I'll have to look it up, can't remember the county but it's on the Ohio border. It's a creek on the grounds of some sort of youth detention center. It's material moved to Indiana by the glacier. Your Flintridge piece is really nice. Hard to beat that rock. Gary
 
My attribution would be a knife (thin edges for cutting) rather than scraper (high angle edges for scraping), FWIW
 
it not a thin knife like a cobbs; it has the classic scraper shape. Sometimes called a duckbill scraper. The larger scaper end it much thicker than the smaller tip, relatively speaking that is. the flat edge has the nice curve to it.
