FLIR C-2 for treasure hunting ?
Anyone here using it ?

I've thought about using it to locate acess to caves and voids.

My thinking is that it may show either warmer or cooler air venting from underground.

thanks SanMan
Also wondering what kind of 'depth' it would produce while hunting beaches for coins, jewelry etc. ?

info on the C2 here also it came down in 4 years from $700.00 to $450.00

NOBODY... is using this ???

... ?

The 2nd image was shot with a FLIR E-4. The first is the cave entrance shot with my camera. Yes, IR is excellent for cave detection, right down to just a warm spot in the soil.

Not sure what you are expecting unless you are thinking that the sun would heat the sand more or less than things buried in it.

It's all about using the camera.
If you play with a certain discipline, you will get results.
I have information for about 10 years.
I know especially the tests done in the military.
buried bomb and mine tests..8-)

I would happy to buy this unit
If it work
Please be in touch
