Those are the nicest cave woman floaters I have ever seen! :tongue3: I see some western points in the bunch, I really like that Eastgate. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Molly. Did you find the Gunthers and the Friley yourself?

Pardon the ignorance, but what's a "floater?" Of course, I'm asking in reference to the arrowheads, as I can think of several other responses one might make to the above question.... :tongue3:

Suspended lol. I knew I should have said 'suspended arrows'

Imao Arrow, too funny. ;D Thanks I nearly choked on my sandwich. :tard: yep western points, the last point as been referred to a quite a few types, so I just leave it as Marcos. Until I'm more confident with western typology.
Thanks for your reply.

No Steve, these are traded points, but I intend on visiting the West insearch of pointy rocks.Thankyou for your reply.

Much appreciated guys. :)
Molly.

Well as you can see I left the pin holding a gary up, so ya'll can see how its done. I use photo software to cut/crop the pic down, then clone out the pin from the pic, to make the point look like its floating.

Thanks for your comment MG.

Molly. :)

My very first 'Floater' ;D

Molly.

I was referring to the first obsidian point, pretty sure that one is an Eastgate. If the last one was found in the Great Basin area it would be an Elko. But that one does look to be made from a Texas lithic so you are probably right on with Marcos. I love all your floaters! (never thought I would say that.....LOL)

their beautiful !! i like your floating technique too thanks for sharing them Molly

Mike

LOL Arrow, maybe I should have not called them Floaters but thats what they are. ::)
Sorry, for some strange reason I thought you was refering to the Marcos, yes the Eastgate was found in CA, Thankyou for typing it for me, I wasn't sure. It's a pretty lil point, shame it as a barb broke. :-\ Obsidien is a refreshing change compared to what I find here in NC/VA.
And yes the Marcos was found in Texas, Edwards Plateau Flint, I do believe.

Thankyou for your kind words, Arrow,Mike & Shawn.

Molly. AKA Cave-Woman. lol.
