This may have been addressed before, but I'm curious to know how many undiscovered but "documented" Spanish treasure wrecks were recorded as having "possibly been" lost off the east coast of Florida somewhere between Cape Canaveral and St. Augustine? It seems to me that the vast majority of them were lost at/or below Canaveral or near St. Augustine. I'm just curious if the stretch of coast between these two points "only appears to be a general dead zone" or if there is a reason why this stretch of coast "is a general dead zone" as far as this select group of vessels is concerned?"
