I’d say the one on the right came from a skirmish between a colonist and a native, both fired at the same time, the shot from the musket passing through the arrow as both continued on towards their target. But being interrupted in flight both shots missed and both lived to fight another day… or it was a fossil inclusion that fell out but where’s the fun in that

Those are some killer points! The newnans are a really interesting points, Ryan gill at hunt primitive on YouTube does some experimental archaeology with some. He would socket them into river cane instead of traditional hafting. It’s interesting to see them actually being made and used in a hunt. I made some smaller 40gr arrow head sized ones and I will try them when I finish my cane arrows.
