Can anyone give me some details on this fob?

It's stamped Fattorini Bolton T F

Google tells me this is Thomas Fattorini. It also has a silver stamp (lion) on the ring, but is the main fob silver?

And any guesses on age?

I would be most great full for any knowledge from you lovely people :)

This is a medal.
Sterling. IMO

I know that one is silver, and I have a fair idea about the age (going by the engraving) but I don't know anything about the maker Carter & Werner. Or "MFA"

"Henry Carter and Carl Werner started their own business (Carter and Werner) as jewellers, opticians and importers of optical instruments in Lydiard Street, Ballarat."

Interesting history!

Montrose Football Association (MFA)??

Whatever it stands for, I think you have a real Historical gem here, probably should be in a Museum. I think it will turn out to be something special!

Great stuff everyone, I first thought it might have been "Manchester football association" considering I got it in a lot with the first one, plus a couple more UK medals, but it does appear to be from Aussie land.

My best guess is, it was awarded to a J.McPherson or I.Mcpherson.

I see it now; L McPherson
