Got off work an hour early so headed over to my closest elementary school to "clean up" the playground both of trash and of hopefully treasure. Flipped wood chips on all the 0 to 10 VDIs on my White's MXT, glad I checked a 4 signal because it was not another piece of foil (22 total), but a nice little 10K two toned white and gold ring with a teeny diamond! Also pulled up 8 quarters and two foreign coins: 1985 $100 Mexican Pecos and 1970 New Zealand 10. Next, check at the school to see if anybody lost something...

Wow, gold on a +4 VDI. I need to watch those more closely. Nice find

Congratulations.

Yep, keep digging up the foil and pull tabs, because you will miss gold otherwise. I have seen some really small pieces of gold dug and would have easily been missed. I started dropping my pull-tabs in a Ronald MacDonald house collection at a church that I detect at.
