Foil wrapped bottles

I'm posting this cause I found some bottles wrapped in aluminum or some metal in my backyard, I didn't dig them all and I got 5 intact and one broke... It looked like the metal is burnt or something.. Has anyone ever heard of people burning the metal around bottles like that? And would there be a chance of any of them having coins or something them?

Well, did you look inside one of the bottles you found jman?

Yep, nothing but dirt....

Went back out with gloves and found more bottles plus the metal piece
