Please be careful to all of you!! I went through katrina and this isn't something to take lightly!!! Take the precautions and please remember to check on your neighbors and elderly after the storm is over. We didn't have power for 3 weeks after katrina and my next door neighbor died because he had no way of keeping his insulin cold! We got him to the hospital but it was too late. I am not trying to scare any of you but as Winston Churchill once said, Let's hope for the best but prepare for the worst.Oh and be sure to have a good running chainsaw. It took my dad and I 2 days to cut out of the driveway!!

Thanks for the well wishes,

We're stocked up on supplies and I have five boxes of halves to keep me busy!

Nice post! :icon_thumright:

Take care guys/gals. I went through Hurricane Fran and Bertha in North Carolina. They are kinda cool as long as they don't do too much damage!

Hold on to your beers, here comes some rain! Just be thankful it isn't a zombie hurricane!

Just evacuate if you can. I left town for Charley and Wilma, and I just considered it a nice opportunity to visit family out of state.

I own a Tree service , and this storm has already cut into my coin hunting. I will still pick up my boxes next week , but i dont know when i will be able to open them. HH

As a home owner told a first responder i know in Katrina " The worst part was when the goverment took away my gun while i could see bands of looters down the street"

The wind is howling, the rain is horizontal, and I'm out of rolls to hunt. What am I to do? I have had no luck on silver this week and a few wheaties and nickels to fill my coin pages. An earthquake followed by a skunk followed by a hurricane! Good grief! ::)

I need a break. Please forward all unwanted silver culls my way and I'm sure to cheer up soon!

Be safe, ya'll!

Charlie and Wilma????????????????????? Charlie came right over the top of my house and I WAS STILL IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you mind me asking, where do you live in SW Florida? Can always use a CRH friend...Or at the least, not cross over territories...

PM me and I will answer back.

[mod] There are some posts from the regulars in Coin Roll Hunting that are not really related to coin roll hunting but because they are posted by CRH board regulars, we see no problem with it. He is simply wishing everyone to be safe. Why would you have a problem with that? If you're bothered by this thread then don't post on it!! [/mod]

Not on the east coast myself, but I hope all the CRHers out there are staying safe. With how productive the east coast is, perhaps they can build a storm shelter out of silver blocks ;)

Thanks mods for chiming in on the posts here.
