this is gonna depend if others near you already read some of the books in your area
but i own over a dozen books from this company of surrounding towns in my area and each one has
old swimming holes or pics of beaches that used to be - some close to 100 yrs old - some no longer used

this company pretty much started with towns in New England (Ma. I think is where they started with)
and now has branched out across the whole country
if you have a Barnes and Noble in your area - they probably carry ones pertaining to your area
you can buy them on Amazon also
most books mention old schools, parks, and oldest houses in town -s o you may find other spots of interest
or tips of places to try

Thanks for posting.
I was not aware of this website.
When you go to this website, if you highlight a book title and then right click on it, you will see, search Google for that title.
When you search Google, you will see on the middle right side of the page where it will say borrow it, that will show you availability at your nearest libraries.
A lot of libraries have interlibrary borrowing programs, so even if your local library does not have to book you can request them to borrow it from another library.
