I posted these pictures in Mother Earth's online photo contest I got editors pick for the salamander. Micki, the turkeys and the bee made the spotlight. I am hoping one gets picked for the next magazine issue. No big deal, but it made me smile quite a bit.

Oh my gosh! No wonder they won....the one of the turkeys is absolutely fabulous...you need to send it to an outdoors hunting magazine or someone that makes Wildlife Thanksgiving cards ! I love that pic the best

I like the bumble one the most CG, although the color of the salamander is a great contrast to the background.

I told ya I wouldn't cheat ya! When I saw my girl................I teared a little and called my Dad! The caption was "time to play?" I really laughed and said "time to eat?"

I would love to take pictures for a living! Maybe just maybe someday. NEVER give up the hope. Right?

That Bee wa not an easy shot, dang thing wouldn't sit still, but I got it.

Micki is a Red tick coon hound, and a fat and sassy one at that. She has my husband wrapped right around her chubby paw.
