I am guessing but this must be one of the best ever Kings Eight Button ever found. The rarity of this in the condition as found is truly an anomaly. It was in the ground since the Revolutionary War or the War of 1812 period. For the button collector this is a rare one. It was found with an Explorer Detector in dry soil at a depth of 5 inches in a rocky area. It was found on private property with the farmers permission. It takes a lot to get me excited but finding this one was really a thrill. Jim
