Welp, it looks like things are all patched
up betwixt me and "AT". Physically and
relationship wise. (see last post regarding
the "physical" part
)
I may have gone a bit overboard on the pics
but, I was enjoying myself.
The reason I think I've been forgiven is that
I went to a place where I've stumbled many times
before! The thing is that the place is *notoriously*
stingy when it comes to giving up actual coins!
I took a couple steps, did some vigorous test swings
to see if my fix was going to work. Satisfied, I
started walking. Not 10 feet in, I get this as a
very first good hit:

Pretty good! But he wasn't through! Another couple
swings and :

hmmmm.....

Gonna be a good day! LOL
Wasn't a really "big" day as far as number of finds
but I couldn't argue the quality. There are a LOT of
pics of this next find as I felt it was my star of the
day! Even though I simply LOVE finding old coins and
these two indian heads are stars to me in their own right!
But, this button really shined out to me! Not sure why.

Here's the take:

Don't think Blingie's too interested.

Fishy seems to have a penchant for milk glass.

Here's that button again. I've done very little to it
yet. There's some sort of design on the front but I
can't quite make it out. Looks to me like a figure
standing in front of either a mountain or a building

This is the only mark I could find. It's either a
bad stamping of the word "PLATED" or it actually
is stamped "PLATEI".

C'mon button experts! How long do you suspect that
this button has been buried and look how clean and
whole it was coming out!
Any suggestion for
further cleaning?
If you made it this far, I am IMPRESSED! LOL
Thanks for peeking!
