Okay, you got me - I'm an Ebay virgin.... completed items???

yuo have to be logged in to access them. Follow the list down the left side of your screen till you see "completed items" & check the box. then search as usual.

Thanks for the help. I just looked through some of my stuff and the actual count is a little over 300 coins from a little over 40 countries. Most of them are in amazing shape for their age, some of them date back to the late 1800's. I'll look into finding a copy of that book.

Ebay can be a little off on their prices. Remember, they are just regular people trying to sell stuff. I recommend looking it up on NGC website. They have a free foreign coin price guide I use all the time.

I completely disagree. If you want "book value" use ngc pricing. If you want to know what coins are actually selling for today go by Ebay completed items. You will often find a HUGE disconnect in prices.

I agree with joe here- the book may say a certain coins is worth $75 but the last several.on ebay have only sold for $50-55
