Fort Buttons

I found these in my hometown of Rio Grande City, Tx. A fort was established there in 1849 and has seen Confederate and Union rule. It was operational until the mid 1950's and then decomissioned. I found one of thses buttons about quater mile of the fort near my old home and the smaller one about 10 miles north of the fort in my ranch. Enjoy!

The first button is a Great Seal and is somewhat modern, first issued in 1902. The second appears to be a General Service eagle that most likely is CW era. Nice finds!
