I was watching a local FL morning show and they featured a segment on Dr. Thomas Missimer, Missimer Groundwater Science. He was incredibly interesting. Anyway, he pulled out a handful of fossils and explained that they were millions of years old. So, I ran and grabbed some of my fossils when I realized they must be older than I thought. I found each of these in my backyard near the canal. One, I think, is a scallop, and the other is a mollusk. One looks like a small bone and the other is a 'dun'tknow'. Also, I don't know what the white ziggy things that look like mutant growths. They are all over the top of the scallop and they are hard. I put a chip under the microscope and still couldn't get a handle on it. Check them out.
