Fossil ID if possible

I found this large piece, but cannot tell what it is or what it could be from. My initial thought was a shoulder bone? One side is smooth and it is a curved fossil. Any ideas?

It appears to be a chunk of giant tortoise carapace. That is, Hesperotestudo sp.

Probably an edge shell piece in the front.

Thanks Mambear. I found out its part of the shell. Its so thick and heavy, these tortoise must have been huge millions of years ago!
