Found 10 in one hole!!

Found 10 three ringers in one hole. Most of them still had black powder on them. Probably more there just ran out of daylight. They we about 8-16 inches down.

Also found what I believe to be a Mississippi rifle bullet not sure though. About 15 feet from the others.

great finds. I found 5 three ringers today, but had to walk all day to get them. It would be nice to get a good hit like yours.

Bullets were packaged 10 to a pack. Union Troops were also issued 50 rds. But only 40 fit in the cartridge box. Guess where the other pack went!

WHERE was this at? meaning state, i saw a history of a rifle found and that was the only mark to find a treasure but deer hunters took it without knowing the history and when they want to go back to find the spot they never did., i own a 2 box metal detector that will go very deep, if any one want me to prospect with this one, i know how to use it and know when is iron or not. i live in southern Nevada.

Found in Louisiana. I'm going back soon to check for more. Spent about 5 hours then on the way back to the truck I found these. How were they packaged?
