Well, after church today, my Mom, Dad, and me decided to hunt an old house that we got permission to hunt last week. We started in the yard, and had many hits, found an old horseshoe, hatchet head, some odd and end metals also. My Dad found a couple wheat pennies and some clad, and he also found this ring. The ring was hand made out of metal, not silver, and had the initials E.J.W. on the top part. Me and my Mom were not finding any coins and decided to hunt another part of the yard when we had a very good tone. We dug a plug, and out popped this 3 ringer. Very exciting, not sure how it got here, but neat. We later talked to the owner of the property, offered him the ring if it was any of his relatives, but he told us that it was a woman that passed away over 100 years ago. He said that the people that use to live in the old house had relatives that were in the Civil War, so it must be why we found the bullet here. We had a great time, love spending time with Mom and Dad and getting some fresh air.
