Got a couple of boxes today of halves. One of the boxes was a skunk (no big surprise), but the other had some keepers. Got 4- 90%ers and 10- 40%ers. One of the 90s was a 1963 Frankie that was a proof. Weird thing is when I saw the rim it looked real wide and shiny like when you find a modern Kennedy 90% proof. I have had some Franklin proofs before that I bought and broke out of their mint holder to gently dip due to toning (I hate to admit that, but they turned out OK), but I have never seen one with such a wide rim in certain points. Guess I will put it in a flip folder to save since it is not too bad looking scratch wise.
Pretty good box for around here.
